Gallops of Jordan 2021

A breathtaking adventure!

133 riders from the gates of the spectacular Wadi Rum to the mythical Nabataean lost City of Petra, 200 kilometers on horseback in the desert, 18 nations represented among the participants, more than 160 Arabic horses, 20 members of the Gallops team from France (organizers, doctors, veterinaries, photographers) supported by 80 Jordanians hired locally to supervise the race. A hell of a desert caravan!

Nations represented: Afghanistan, Argentina, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Netherlands, Oman, Spain, Sweden, Swizterland and USA.

Raid results: 1st Blue Ghallah (France) – 2nd Quarante (France) – 3rd Royal Cavalry of Oman (Oman).
